I’ve finished my Goodreads Reading Challenge for 2017 and it’s only October!
I have to say this is actually surprising. I didn’t think that I would get it done this early on in the year, considering there are still 2 full months to go. At the same time, I knew in about March that I was easily going to complete the 40 books, having spent most of January and February reading up a storm. That’s what summer is for, amiright?
Last year I challenged myself to read 40 books, and I finished with about 2 weeks to spare. I ended up reading 42 books in 2016, so I wasn’t sure how many more I was going to be able to read this year. With that in mind, I kept my 2017 goal at 40 … and I realise now I should have upped it to at least 45, if not 50.
Just because I’ve finished the challenge doesn’t mean I’ll stop reading (duh). I’m already nearly finished book 41, and have a pile of new books sitting on my floor ready to be picked up. There’s quite a few that I would love to read this year, and just one left on my Vow To Read list that we do each with Blogger’s Bookshelf.
But until then, here are all the books I’ve read fro January – October 15th when I finished the challenged. Below the images you can find links to the books I’ve reviewed, including the ones I’ve shared on BB.
