This will be the last book haul for a while (she says kind of hopefully, torn between her decreasing bank account number and her love of books), but that’s okay, right? Right, and this haul is really a mix of opshop/charity/thrift store buys, and some from The Warehouse, and one from a subscription box.

The Warrior Heir
The Wizard Heir
The Dragon Heir, by Cinda Williams Chima
Bought: at the opshop
I managed to find all these three at the opshop right next to each other. While I hadn’t heard of them or the author, the descriptions sounded great, and I love finding new series. There are actually 5 in this series, but I figured I can’t complain when I got the first three for $10…all together. Not each.

The Winner’s Curse, by Marie Rutkoski
Came in the: Bethany Beach Book Drop Subscription box in April
You can read all about the Bethany Beach Book Drop in this post here, but in short it’s this great (and reasonably priced if you live in the states) subscription box where they send you a great book every month. I didn’t know what I was getting until it arrived, but it sounds like a great book and I look forward to eventually reading it.
The Farm, by Emily McKay
Bought: at the opshop
Bit of a funny story about this book. I was at The Warehouse and I saw the this book’s sequel in the bargain bin and I had picked it up because I thought it looked good…and then realised it wasn’t the first one and put it down. I had a brief moment of ‘maybe I should get it – it’s only $4 – and then I can just get the first one at some time…’. But I didn’t. Then the same day, after being at the Warehouse, I was at the opshop…and I found this book. The first one. *shakes head* The one time…seriously…argh. Oh well. Maybe I won’t even like this one…?
Crossroads of Twilight
Knife of Dreams, by Robert Jordan
Bought: at the opshop
I’m slowly bulding up by colleciton of this series. I may have said before at some point in this blogging life, but I have read the first 4 are really liked them…but that was when I was about 14 or 15, so I feel like I need to re-read them. I did re-read the first one a few years back, so I have to keep reading these. I now have 1,2,3,4 and 6 and 10, 11 and also 14. We’re getting there!
Unwind, by Neal Shusterman
Bought: at the opshop
I read this book a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. I have yet to read the following books (of which there are now 3), but I’d love to reread this and keep reading the others.
Eragon, by Christopher Paolini
Bought: at the opshop
Another of my much-loved series that I haven’t finished yet. I have the 3rd and 4th books, and now I have the first. Just need the second to complete the series. I have read books 1 and 2, but didn’t get to read the 3rd when it came out…and then I got behind. You know how it is.
Salt & Stone, by Victoria Scott
Bought: at The Warehouse
I really loved the first in this series, Fire and Flood, and you can read my review of it here on Blogger’s Bookshelf. I was super excited when I spotted this book at the Warehouse for only $13.
I Capture the Castle, by Dodie Smith
Bought: at The Warehouse
This is one of those books that I’ve been meaning to pick since forever ago. I think I actually got it out at the library when I was younger, but it was one of those times where I picked up about 10 books and had to return them before I had read them all. This was only $4 at the The Warehouse. Yay!
And the end! I hope you’ve enjoyed these book hauls.
Have you read any of these ones? Or bought any books recently?
