Wonder Mail is truly a wonder.

I’d never received a Wonder Mail pack before, but I had seen the beautiful designs and items that people were getting each month from Read and Wonder (based in Australia). When the theme for March was announced, Fantastical Fae, I thought it was prime time I treated myself to a month. I’m really glad I went with the March box/envelope, as it was full of items from The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, The Dark Artifices series by Cassandra Clare, and also series by Sarah J Maas.

What was in the Wonder Mail box

A6 postcard print

As well as having the informaiton about all the items in this box, this pretty card has a quote from A Court of Thorns and Roses series (which I’ve only read the first of so far! Eek!). I actually have a notebook with this same quote on it too, which I got in the November 2017 Owl Crate box.

A5 print

This reads “There was beauty in the idea of freedom, but it was an illusion. Every human heart was chained by love.” This is a quote from Mark Blackthorn in Cassandra Clare’s The Dark Artifices series. Mark is part fae in the book, so it fits the theme nicely!

Enamel pin

I really need to start pinning things to my clothes, or find a bag or something, because I keep getting really neat pins. This one was inspired by The Cruel Prince, by Holly Black, and reads ‘I am coming unraveled, I am coming undone’. I have to admit I don’t remember this quote from the book, but I do really like the pin.

Double-sided bookmark

Double-sided, you say? These quotes are from The Cruel Prince series, too. The first reads ‘Power is much easier to acquire than it is to hold on to’, and the second reads ‘Kiss me again. Kiss me until I am sick of it’. These are really beautifully designed!

Magnetic bookmarks

How neat are these?! These were inspired by The Cadre from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. The Cadre are warriors blood-sworn to the Fae Queen Maeve in the books.

Vinyl sticker

Another item inspired by The Cruel Prince, this sticker reads ‘Sharpen your blade, harden your heart’. Might pop this on a phone cover.
