A mix of ARC novels and overseas buys make up this month’s book haul.
While the last book haul was a look at the shameful amount of books I scored at the annual ASB 24 Hour Book Fair, this book haul is a mixture of ARC novels from the wonderful people over at Hachette Publishing NZ (*waves*), a couple of books I bought while overseas, and a new release from the incredible John Green.
I’m a little behind on reading at the moment, as I took The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss on my adventure to Chile, and then I took Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo to North America. Both were longish books, which meant that I read one book in the time it would usually take to read two. Hence, a little behind, especially on review request books.
However! Really looking forward to reading these in the following weeks. Hopefully I can read at least half by the end of the year (which is rapidly approaching!).
The Last Namsara, by Kristen Cicarelli
Arrrived home from being overseas to find this waiting for me from Hachette Publishing. This sounds so good and I’m definitively looking forward to reading it next. Read all about it on Good Reads.
Mirror Mirror, by Cara Delevingne
The long awaited, much acclaimed Mirror Mirror, by Cara Delevingne was sent to me by Hachette. I’ve just finished reading it, so look out for a review coming your way soon! Missed the hype? Check it out on Good Reads.
Turtles All the Way Down, by John Green
Well we waited. And waited, and waited. Until finally, John Green graced the world with another novel. This has been sitting on my shelf since I bought it the day it came out … which is really bad, I know. I have one more review book to read and then I’m diving into this one! I’ve heard nothing but great praise so far! Read all about this brand new release on Good Reads!
The Cartoon Introduction to Philosophy, by Michael F. Patton and Kevin Cannon
The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern
This has been on my TBR list for as long as I can remember. I have it on my Kindle, but it’s just not the same. So when I finished reading my book in the States, I thought it was the perfect time to buy this book at the famous Powell’s Books. Check it out on Good Reads, and look out for my review coming to Blogger’s Bookshelf soon!
Have you read any of these?
