Welcome to the BoMoSh!
If you missed last month’s post, then in short, the BoMoSh is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.
Books | 4.5
- Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo
- The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern (review coming soon)
- Mirror Mirror, by Cara Delevigne (review coming soon)
- The Salmon Who Dared to Leap Higher, by Ahn Do-hyun
- The Last Namsara, by Kristen Ciccarelli (review coming soon)
I finished Six of Crows while I was over in Portland, so bought The Night Circus at Powell’s bookstore. I recieved Mirror Mirror from Hachette Publishing NZ to review, and I’m sad to say I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped I would. The Salmon Who Dared to Leap Higher was a super sweet short story by Ahn Do-hyun, which I picked up at the library. The Last Namsara was amazing! Loved it a lot.
Movies | 2
- Ice Age 4
- Ice Age 5
These were the only 2 movies I watched this month. Sad, isn’t it? But I saw them on the plane back from North America, and I realised I hadn’t seen these two. In fact, I don’t even know if I knew there was a number 5. They’ll never be as great as the first one, but they were pretty fun.
This month I’ve been watching Riverdale each week, and finally started Stranger Things. As in…season 1. I’m behind I know, but I am loving it (as I knew I would). I also caught up on some of Grey’s Anatomy (season 9 …again, behind), and over the end of October/start of November I watched all of season 3 of The 100.
What have you read and watched this past month?
