Book Haul #42

If you’ve been reading the past couple of book hauls, then you are probably aware that I’m trying not to buy as many books this year.

I thought I was doing well, buuuut it turns out I really wasn’t.

Like I said in Book Haul 41 (okay, side bar. The fact that I’m up to book haul 42 now is concerning in itself), a lot of the books in the past few months have been either from the lovely people over at Hachette Publishing, and then some super cheap books that I had to buy because cheap.books. You get it right? Right. You guys can back me up.

Moving on with my sad book life. Here’s what I got. It’s a really random mixture, and most of if is actually just Percy Jackson.

The whole Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, by Rick Riordan

So I’ve been meaning to read this series for an age. I studied Classics at school so everything about it seems brilliant to me. Everything. At yet, why haven’t I read it yet? Ah, I have no idea. But now that I have the books (all of which were half price – score!) I shall dive in. So looking forward to it!

The Elite and The One, by Kiera Cass

I don’t actually have The Selection, though I have read it. I found these in a sale bin for a couple of dollars, so I snatched them up. I’m on the look out for the others in the series now.

Really odd combination, I realise that, but a book haul none the less.
