5 Times I would go to if there was a Delorean in my driveway…

Much like if the TARDIS whooshed into my house or garden, I have a pretty good idea of the times I would like to visit if the Delorean suddenly drove into my driveway. This being the year of hoverboards and power lacing shoes, I thought it was a good time to share these things with you.
1. 300BC
Ah, the time of Alexander the Great. I know that he was a bit of a nutter, and his morals were slightly askew, but you can’t deny that he was a fantastic leader. I wouldn’t stay in ancient Greece or Macedonia for long, just long enough to catch a glimpse of Alex’s leading skills, give him a high five (and perhaps inventing it centuries too early), say ‘good job, but wash your hands more often so you don’t get sick and die’, and then I’d be on my way.
2. Jane Austen time
To be able to wear a bonnet and get away with it could be fun experience. Or it could be horrible. All the same, I’d love to go and hang out with the lovely Jane Austen. Who knows, maybe she’d even write me into one of her stories. Maybe I’ll be the heroine, or the troubled best friend. Or even a nanny. Anything.
3. 1920s or 1930s
I already have a flapper outfit and everything! I’d love to wear it in the actual era rather than a dress up party. If I hang about long enough maybe I’ll be cast in my favourite old musical, Singing in the Rain? I’d be happy with just meeting Gene Kelly actually.
4. 1960s
Just so I could go to a Beatles concert. Also I reckon I could totally rock the fashion of that era too. I know I can do that now – dress up in 60s outfits – but I’d get away with it more back then.
5. The future
Okay, so I don’t know if I’d actually want to go to the future, but I feel if I went to the future in a different country, and to a time after I had already died, just to have a sneak peak at what’s to come, even for 5 minutes, then that would be neat. Or horrible. Either way…I feel like if the Delorean did turn up on my driveway, it would be a given that the future would be involved.
